This bill to restrict the use of facial coverings by law enforcement officers is getting a public hearing on the very first day of Washington's legislative session, next Monday.

You can weigh in on it, without testifying, here:

"Nearly a week after the spill, neither BP nor any regulators would provide any estimates of how much jet fuel spilled...the fuel spilled about 2,000 feet from where the pipeline crosses the Snohomish River."

We cannot get rid of fossil fuels fast enough.
Spill-response crews planned to start digging up a blueberry farm near Everett on Tuesday to find the cause of a jet-fuel spill that shut down the Pacific Northwest’s primary oil pipeline.

Electeds like to say that budgets are statements of values. Sure feel like the fact that a 6-month-old police officer makes twice as much as a new teacher in Seattle is a statement!
Just wanna highlight that Seattle Public Schools teacher salaries start at just over $60,000, less than half what a new Seattle police officer will make after six months under the new contract.

Cops get bonuses for two-year associate degrees; teachers, of course, have to have finished college.
Salaries were significantly higher last year, presumably because of inflation:

It’s hard to convey just how much Chicagoans are mobilizing against ICE. Don’t want to downplay the harm, or make it seem like a fair fight. But in neighborhoods across this city, ICE is getting chased by people blowing whistles and shouting. People are running TOWARD ICE to protect their neighbors.

There is no precedent for ICE spending on small arms

ICE bought guns, including automatic rifles, and armor, but there have also been significant purchases of chemical weapons and guided missile warheads and explosive components.

More weapons, more violence

They are going to war against Americans
