Curious and curmudgeonly, creative and crusty. Cynic in the nascent stages of recovery.

Just like you, I can't do this on my own.

You’ll notice that the American state media have completely ignored the fact that bribe for hire Pam Bondi hasn’t released a single Epstein file in 2026. They have deliberately and continuously failed humanity.

I'm hearing about this in a few states. My big question is whether it is preparation for a crackdown on resistance to ICE operations, or a preemptive crackdown on anti war protesters after the planned invasion of Greenland
my friend is a postal worker in minneapolis and they all got letters at work today to show to police to prove they are essential workers authorized to be out. i guess we're to the "papers please" era now officially.

There is a lot in this interview. Quoting to amplify specifically that at the end they report the ICE agents saying, “Have you not learned? This is why we killed that lesbian bitch.”

ICE agents appear now to approve of the killing of Renee Good as an act of terrorism committed by them collectively
In this clip from a longer interview, she says while she was in detention, agents called Renee Good a “lesbian b*tch.”

This video belongs to @statuscoupnews.bsky.social and I’ll take it down if they want me to.

I mean frankly we could see both by February lol

Moreover, ICE must be destroyed
I think it’s more likely than not that we see the end of Fed independence and NATO this year.

@mayorjacobfrey.bsky.social Hey so when do you intend to use your police to get ICE the fuck out of your city?

This week: we execute a U.S. citizen.

Next week: we take over elections to stop “fraud.”

It's so transparent what's going on here.

Important context to "more/better training" arguments: the murder of Renée Good was a product of that training by someone who has trained others.

(I've seen same in civil rights cases; by moving where he did, he was intentionally generating a pretext to shoot her without genuine risk to himself.)
NEW: Jonathan Ross is former National Guard and Border Patrol and has been part of ICE's SWAT equivalent, a team leader overseeing FBI, ATF, and IRS agents, and a firearms instructor, according to testimony obtained by WIRED. This is from @hudsongiles.bsky.social and me:
ICE Agent Who Reportedly Shot Renee Good Was a Firearms Trainer, Per Testimony
Jonathan Ross told a federal court in December about his professional background, including “hundreds” of encounters with drivers during enforcement actions, according to testimony obtained by WIRED.

Any aspect of the law -- the concepts, the language, the execution, the adjudication -- that is not acting in faithful service to Justice is, by definition, oppression.

The most fundamental tenet of Justice is that oppression is intolerable in the most absolute terms.
It Sure Looks Like The Trump Administration Is Trying To Cover Up A Killing

One of the core purposes of right-wing media is to rewrite your memory and reprogram your moral response to an event you saw with your own eyes. George Floyd died of a heart attack. Jan 6 was a peaceful picnic. This process has already begun
THERE IS VIDEO

I really do not want to recommend to everyone a video of a person being shot but there is video from multiple angles

why not cut the crap and just publish "this paper supports random state murder, it makes us feel good, kill kill kill"? same exact meaning, less embarrassing

"there are unaccountable murderers in the city, and the government will neither protect you or allow you to defend yourselves" seems like the worst possible combination of messages imo
Governor Walz says he's prepared to deploy the Minnesota National Guard if protests become violent in reaction to ICE fatally shooting a woman in Minneapolis.

"We will not take the bait," adds Walz, saying he's also angry but demonstrations should remain lawful.

Right. The point is not “it matters extra because it’s a citizen,” the point is “we either hang together or we will all hang separately.”
i think it is ok to reiterate that the victim as a us citizen. yes, noncitizens are equally entitled to human rights. but also, it's important to illustrate how ice isn't about immigration at all
