Hopefully the whole Bari Weiss thing and Ezra Klein thing starts waking people up to the fact that corporate media is mostly populated with mediocre people who have made millions and gained unbelievable influence because they threaten nothing and tell wealthy people exactly what they want to hear.

Im endlessly fascinated by the narratives that these cities are war zones that are constantly on fire when in reality theyre mostly nice peaceful places with lot of parks and cultural events. The disparity is nuts

It’s embarrassing but the Jimmy Kimmel debacle actually is important. It was the first real attempt by the Project 2025 movement to flex their muscle against someone who wasn’t a nameless, defenseless nobody and it catastrophically flopped in less than a week.

We don't know the shooter's beliefs or motives yet, but we do know the family that raised him was a Republican, gun-loving household.

You don’t have to cheer on political violence
You don’t have to celebrate someone’s death
You don’t have to go out of your way to be gracious or considerate if a person passes and they spent time here trying to make life worse for others.
