helping an 80 year old who introduced me to computers turn off the 'flashlight' on their google phone because they have some flashlight app and they've just been frustratedly clicking on the 'flashlight' icon and then clicking on multiple advertisements to go forward but the light doesn't go off.

Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

i maintain that heretics & apostates are much more useful terms than "not real christians"
@swordsjew.bsky.social did an interview on Know Your Enemy where she advocates bringing back the word "heretic" to describe these types of people. Rather than denying their self-proclaimed faith, call out their reading of that faith as being abhorrent
