Amazon Basics is ass.
Like for a lot of commodity goods I’m super agnostic about brands. Store generics do fine.
But Amazon Basics is one exception. Their stuff is legit ASS. Even simple stuff like tissue paper is noticeably poor quality.

Got an Amazon Basics USB and it breaks on me the first time I use it. Windows can't even recognize it as media, so I assume it fried itself somehow.

One of my biggest pet peeves in these discussions is single payer is not the same thing as universal healthcare, just a subset of it, and yet people act like they’re the exact same.
As with so many poor understandings of modern Democratic Party dynamics, it’s mostly 2016 primary legacy IMO; it’s taken as read that universal healthcare is like, a radical left-wing demand opposed by the party establishment rather than the main aim of 99% of the party for generations…
