Digging around in DOKAN discs again tonight and came across some prime early gaming meme x anime from 2000/2001 with Zero Wing x Gundam Wing.

Now I'll be on the hunt for 0079 and All Your (White) Base Belongs to Us...

OH MY GOD NO

Doron Ofir--who, again, has big dealings with LA Comic Con--was called up by Ghislaine Maxwell to make sure Prince Andrew was entertained at the club that night.

Bro, I am NOT going back to a convention where one of the show runners helped Ghislaine, Epstein, and Prince Andrew!
But wait! There's more!

cannot possibly convey how actually crazy-making it can feel, after spending 20 years monitoring all these orgs blaming sex workers and the internet for enabling a vast sex trafficking network, to now see Jeffery Epstein’s inbox

“I wasn’t personally in the Epstein files but I would have been if I was cool enough to be friends with Jeff” is not something you need to say out loud
very weird “I am Spartacus” thing happening right now with the worst people on earth

Whitney Cummings, an anti woke reactionary who is fresh off a multi-month long crashout over criticism of her performing at the Riyadh Comedy Festival, got hired by the Daily Show to say Vote Blue No Matter Who??? What the hell is going on over there?

Trump came groveling to Schumer, skywriting that the Democrats had all the leverage. Schumer's reaction was to immediately cave, keeping the government open and DHS funded for two weeks while Trump's minions could get their ideological house back in order, on the eve of another major ICE/CBP surge.
Legit asking, what's the problem here?
Schumer has graduated to world-historical levels of political malpractice. Van Papen, Quisling, Stephen A. Douglas-level incompetence that in retrospect becomes indistinguishable from evil.

If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff.

Democracy dies in oligarchy.

This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm.

The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.

Happy Black History Month.

Now you too can play a slowed down version of a game from 20 years ago with no actual level design or enemies and all it costs is a complete collapse of the world economy, biosphere, education system, and multiple entire creative industries.
Project Genie is an an experimental research prototype that Google gave @jaypeters.net access to this week, though he may not be using it in exactly the way Google intended.

Here's Jay's version of something like Super Mario 64:

remember when the panama papers came out and we found out every rich person on earth was committing tax fraud and then nothing happened

I can’t stress this enough. The state of 4th Amendment law is that the cops can’t force you to type in a passcode but they can force you to swipe your finger or present your face. Never stop using passcodes/passwords to unlock your devices. And consider additional code to unlock Signal.
The FBI was able to access Washington Post reporter Hannah Natanson's Signal messages because she used Signal on her work laptop. The laptop accepted Touch ID for authentication, meaning the agents were allowed to require her to unlock it. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

We basically ended up replacing A King with The King Class. Which way way way way WAY too many politicians believe they are part of and therefore should be treated as unquestionable royalty by default (and too many non-politicians believe politicians are part of and therefore etc etc).
Epstein is the most garish and harrowing manifestation of this but oligarchy makes life miserable in a thousand other ways. A core point of democracy is that no one should have so much power that they can make themselves everybody's problem. We should have a political party that believes that
The Epstein emails should really end the debate over whether society should have billionaires. "Do you want there to be a class of people so powerful they can fuck your kids and no one will even try to do anything" seems like an easy sell if everyone in politics wasn't trying to get on their payroll

The entire impetus behind people wanting to ban the HPV vaccine is literally

they want people punished for extramarital sex

that's it, that's literally it, they want people punished for having sex...with fatal cancers.
I am hearing that RFK Jr.’s minions are going to go after HPV vaccines. I’ve got problems with these people and now you’re going to hear about them, first from a personal perspective and then from a professional one.

It all boils down to this: WE HAVE A SAFE VACCINE THAT PREVENTS CANCER.
