When I was at <prev. job> and folks were working on <game>, the feedback I kept giving was that the design would unavoidably draw in an audience of primarily miserable, hyper-aggressive, antisocial players.

That’s kind of the issue at hand. Every Kamala defender just expects people to nod their heads and say “yes, you are clever and smart for voting for the better choice” instead of admitting the faults that caused her to lose. It’s why I get mad when the argument devolves into “YOU HELPED TRUMP WIN!”
I really do think that everyone, as a rational actor, SHOULD vote for the lesser evil in general elections. But I also truly believe that status quo and lesser-evilism campaigns are basically fated to lose elections.
