The GCs on twitter are very confused by this. It's fairly simple – given FWS only decided whether EA sex means 'biological' or 'certificated' sex, it did not change the legal position for under 18s. Regardless of how FWS was decided the position for trans girl guides would be the same.
The Supreme Court only ruled on whether people with a GRC count as women under the Equality Act.
You have to be 18 to get a GRC.
But the Guides say they’re kicking out trans girls – under 18s – as a result. It doesn’t track. So why are they doing it?

I do not understand how anyone goes through life without this reality just completely poleaxing them from time to time. I mentioned it to my brother once and he was "fuck Beth, that's grim, you need to go outside" and it's just like "this is outside too!!!" How the fuck do you turn aside???
Following on what @miawong.bsky.social and @riotlinguist.bsky.social and others have said, it's worth repeating that the majority of rape is committed against kids and teenagers (<20yo) obviously mainly girls + mostly by adult/teen cis men. Rape culture is inherently CSA culture!

I organise EIAs for a living. You do policy, you do an EIA. It's the first thing an FoI request would ask for. If it's a trans thing you don't fuck around because there's a cottage industry in asking for FoIs on this stuff.
