When I was 7 or 8, I would ride my bike to get icecream and then ride home with it and about 40% of the time would drop it and go ask for another cone and it is only after 30 years that it's ocurred to me that maybe I shouldn't have tried to ride my bike with ice cream

My mom keeps dinosaur figures outside to scare off raccoons who want to steal her garbage. She sent me a photo today. A large toad has found one of the dinosaur figures and befriended it. They are besties now.

A lovely boule of bread, golden brown with slightly darker parts around the scoring on the top. It is in a ziploc bag and a hand is resting on it. It's being carried on my lap and signs around me (a yellow handrail, hard gray floors) indicate I am riding public transportation.

I hold the bread but sometimes I think it is the bread that holds me.
