Both @jleiper.bsky.social and I voted against the mayor’s budget direction because it won’t give the city the resources to maintain core infrastructure or make buses run on time. Also: giving police an increase of up to 6.5% without a corresponding increase in social services? Counterproductive.

Democrats bend over backwards every election to show empathy for conservatives! Harris ran a campaign almost exclusively focused on appealing to the right.
I'm not gonna pretend there's an easy answer but most post-election discourse seems like it's criticizing a campaign that didn't happen.
