Socialize em. Competition is petit bourgeois claptrap.
Health care monopolies on patient care screw over working families and destroy your ability to access affordable care.

All so corporate CEOs, like those from CVS Health, can pad their pockets.

We must break up big medicine. We need a Glass-Steagall for Health Care.

They can’t do it because it points out that they themselves are doing nothing to help. Maybe three of them saying Abolish ICE. The rest are talking about retraining and body cams and QR codes.
Could a Democrat, any Democrat, release a statement actually thanking the people that have been out there doing the fucking work instead of this constant scolding tone for the love of God
Respectfully, look at this fucking bullshit that we’re dealing with, not a single person here has “taken the bait.” We have born witness as little kids are used as bait and neighbors are kidnapped on our streets. A mad dipshit is going to invoke the Insurrection Act regardless and you are blaming us

the difference between the "border" (R +3) and "immigration" (R -17) is fascinating and tells you a lot about how Americans conceptualize of the issue. The "Border" is where the crime and drugs are. "Immigration" is everyone else
I will repeat: It is not obvious, based on the data, that campaigning on the economy in Nov would be significantly more effective than campaigning on immigration. Gov. policy is dramatically out of step with the public on immigration/deportations, and executive overreach is a potent motivator

my Blackest opinion is that the presumption of conflict between "America has a long and deeply rooted history of violence" and "we can and should fight against today's version of that, as did those who came before us" is less a philosophical debate about how to treat the past and more a skill issue

Even if this was the perfect strategy, the execution of saying “affordability” a lot without any substance is total dogshit
People are waving around 50/50 polling on abolish ICE and in the same poll Trump’s is like 30 points under water on affordability. It’s not at all crazy for professional politicians to think there’s a bigger advantage in talking about the latter!

As imperfect and flawed as the New Deal was, (say in comparison to properly off-ramping for actual socialist transformation and its racist practical alliances with bourbon Democrats), the Hooverite Republicans have wanted to squeeze any semblance of its existence from American memory.

We have so much work to do and so many bridges to burn from the past. Silicon Valley must be targeted, we cannot avoid this issue. It has become the primary well of poison in our body politic right now and breaking it down will require at least a whiff of socialist thought being implemented.
I cannot press harder upon how much the Democratic party needs to be cleaned up from over 40 years of doing a Ronald Reagan impression and anyone capping for the party leadership or kneecapping organizations engaging in that clean up via primaries is a fucking stooge and a moron.

Allowing swing-district Democrats to vote for DHS funding so as not to look "anti-law enforcement" feeds into the false narrative that ICE is enforcing laws rather than breaking them. It is an organized crime syndicate. prospect.org/2026/01/21/j...

I'm so proud of Kat. She went back to Broadview on Saturday, the first time since she was indicted. Five degrees out.

Feddy agitators were there only to taunt her.

She stopped her speech and said, “You may love ICE, baby, but they don’t love you. There’s nothing ICE likes more than hitting women.”
This past weekend, I went back to Broadview for the first time since being federally indicted.

I will put my body on the line no matter how many times it takes.

As Malcolm Harris notes in his Palo Alto book, the Silicon Valley crowd comes from the Standford tradition of Smelling like some Nazi shit. Not particularly surprising that these guys are all indulging in it while trying to wrap themselves deep into the US federal budget, old playbook for success.
“There will be more than enough jobs for the citizens of your nation, esp. those with vocational training,” said Karp. “I do think these trends really do make it hard to imagine why we should have large-scale immigration unless you have a very specialized skill.”
