I would argue there is a throughline here with every Palestinian in Gaza being called a terrorist

For three decades now the party has given up local organizational presence in favour of an electoral get out the vote model. The leadership is built for fund raising, stumping, and legislative work. They do not bear any semblance to the idea of local surgeries or constituency mobilization.

They're killing kind people. Helpers. Good people. Renee Good and Alex Pretti were trying to protect their neighbors from the Gestapo. These are good people down to their core. You wish the people who pull the levers of power cared as much as about America as they did. I know I do.

Video games do not cause violence. But we as an industry are clearly not ready to have a conversation about how we've normalized a military fantasy
I am watching what is happening in Minneapolis on Ali Velshi and one of the ICE officers (off camera) literally says, “It’s like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?” as they shoot whatever it is they are shooting. Agents walking around, guns unholstered for no reason. This is insanity
