You heard this beautiful human! Who is your favorite Winnie the Pooh character?
Okay, but that’ll be three threads going at once and I might not be able to wrangle it. But let’s try.

(Mine is Piglet. He’s just such a good friend.)

Gar are the only surviving members of the ginglymodi clade of fish that first appeared 240 million years ago.

The ginglymodian lifestyle is slow, their DNA mutates about a thousand times slower than everyone else.

Literally, their molecular evolution is a thousandth of what everyone else's is. They basically don't speciate, every kind of gar who ever lived would basically be able to mate with every other gar.

100 million year distant gar cousins can still reproduce.
Study of slowly evolving ‘living fossils’ reveals key genetic insights
Yale researchers have discovered evidence of why a fish group, considered “living fossils,” has existed largely unchanged for tens of millions of years.

RFK's kinks all involve persuading someone to eat improperly prepared meat.

It's a breeding kink except for intestinal parasites, not him.

He's like "mmm I didn't cook this burger enough, taste some and see if it's raw baby"

And his date has no idea if a comma was supposed to be in there.
