woof, turns out, while I was screaming at ICE in my neighborhood, my tattoo artist was being detained by ICE and taken to Whipple. They have been released and are with friends but jesus.
Oh and ICE rammed their car, too, after blocking them in.

I joined agriculture leaders from across the state today in Mankato for the Minnesota Ag Expo. Minnesota farmers are the backbone of our economy, and we must ensure they have what they need to thrive—strong markets and stable trade policies.

Today did break me, entirely. So much ICE swooping through the neighborhood all day, beginning with 5 mins after I posted that below. I’m not interested in doing numbers off other people’s pain so I won’t write what happened. Just hold your people close.
Every day some story breaks me some. Today it’s the guy who approached parents at a school patrol, told them he was with Indivisible, and asked about how the patrol system works. The parents gave vague answers, followed him back to his car — and of course it was ICE.

Since the murder of Renee Good, this is the thing that has harmed me the most. A 5 y/o doesn't know shit about immigration policy and hasn't made a single choice that brought them to this point. I’ve harped on this but new examples keep cropping up. What’s the significance of the Minneapolis Police Dept. being outnumbered by federal immigration agents? They aren’t fighting them. The MPD isn’t playing man-to-man defense. You might as well compare to the number of letter carriers or bus stops
