It especially bothers me when someone comes forward with abuse allegations or another interpersonal conflict and this is the immediate response. It’s basically a way to shut down the person coming forward. In cases involving abuse, there is an abuser and a victim!

no, pretty sure they expected a scattering of blue-haired protesters they could easily crush for content + tacit support from other whites, not the organized total resistance they got.

The audiences' unhealthy desire for blood thrist. Like, I get it, everything's bullshit and seeing villains that represent certain people in real life get there's can be satisfying. But being violent is exactly the method that these people want you to feed into. It helps no one. That's the point.
