Your solutions from a distance aren't helping. Push your leaders to impose sanctions on the US due to human rights abuses. Have leaders file lawsuits and tie up oligarch money in overseas accounts.

this country is extremely large and while this makes it hard for the kind of overwhelming protests we see in other countries to work (where one of the only the major cities is the capital, etc) it also makes repression on a large scale hard

Maybe it’s the Navajo in me, but it gives it this human touch. I know people made that little mistake as they were creating this and I love it.

For 18 months, I had to keep the secret that I didn't just voice The Flying Dutchman in the SpongeBob movie, but I also played him in live-action sequences. The hours it took flew by thanks to superb makeup artists Gage Munster & Marcel Banks who were both so kind AND hilarious. 🤣 Thanks fellas! 🙏

This isn't just a casual observation. Fascism scholars have long made this point. It's why calling them "weird" was a more effective strategy than talking about the prices of eggs. Fascism is an aesthetic political movement - you need to make people feel embarassed and horrified by it.

It occurs to me all the yelling at ICE in MPLS isn't merely funny. Getting made fun of like this is awful for morale. ICE is losing field officers faster than it can wave them through training, and a big part of it is how little of this these little weasels can take.
