I found this terribly sad. A young woman with her life ahead of her, and she becomes one of the last American victims of the Long War.

The SecState explanation of the essence & origin of the 28 pt plan presented to Ukraine BY THE US is a strong indicator of the lack of competence of those representing our nation in these efforts.

Russia does these things. It’s well known. Smart negotiators know not to let them happen.

That peace plan is a sad abomination.

I work in cancer research (I search people’s charts and file relevant information to be useful later) and the harm RFK Jr has done, is doing, and will do is sickening and harms patients daily.

I hope one day RFK Jr is unable to get the help he needs because of research he prevented from happening.
Just an absolutely gutting essay by Tatiana Schlossberg, a writer, mother of two young children, and cousin of RFK Jr who is dying of leukemia.

Makes as much sense as this goofy peace plan!
Massive shoutout out to whoever handles the Royal Canadian Air Force’s social media account. They responded to every single comment on their already very solid Trans Day of Remembrance post and they responded like this…

Remember: the only way to save New York City from Donald Trump’s wrath is electing Andrew Cuomo.
Almost a year now since I received this absolutely classic burn from the Canadian government.

Trump is fucking Ukraine. I’m ashamed to be represented by this regime. People fighting for their lives and country and this government sides with the aggressor. Sad.
I’ve said this every month for a year.
We spent a year investigating billionaires for @washingtonpost.com.

We found: the wealthiest 100 Americans gave $1.1 billion to influence the 2024 elections — 140x more than they did in 2000. And almost all of that giving boosted Republicans.

Kelly: "I never expected after serving 25 years in the Navy flying combat missions over Iraq and Kuwait, flying the Space Shuttle, that now I've got to worry about my personal safety and that of my wife, Gabby Giffords, who was already nearly assassinated, because of something the president said."

I believe the correct verb is hanged, not hung. Unless 🍆

lol, we use less electricity: higher costs. We use more: higher costs. Russia invading, higher costs. Russia losing, higher costs. More solar, higher costs. Meanwhile what’s the dividend over at these electric companies? Just curious.
I think the President of the US responding to a question about the murder of a journalist with "A lot of people didn't like that gentleman" is probably pretty bad.

For the life of me I don't understand why the White House press corps continues to debase itself. (Congress too, for that matter.)
I mean, look, I'm not a reporter, so who am I to talk?

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me
