You could write this. Or you could write: “That notion, which has been the rule in nearly every country in the Western Hemisphere for over a century, is grounded in the language of the 14th Amendment.”

All how you choose to frame it.

They all know, based on how the Dems (who are still all in power) treated the Bush administrations genocidal level war crimes that not a single person will be prosecuted or even investigated.

The "MOVEON" movement will suddenly reappear in 2028.
What sticks out to me is how absolutely unafraid of prosecution this psychopath is. Part of it is narcissistic personality disorder, but it's mostly the perceived weakness of Democrats. Should they retake power, no one expects Democrats to hold anyone accountable.

Cuellar is a Democrat, and Trump helped him escape punishment for corruption with a pardon.

Trump also pardoned Democrat Rod Blagojevich, former governor of Illinois, who also was corrupt and got caught.

Plus Republican Rep. George Santos.

The through line isn't partisanship, it's pro-corruption.

Books are absolutely selling, and there's something of another boom in indie shops happening. And this bookseller -- the type who sells books to bookstores -- loves to see it!
We need to spend 5 years not telling people how much romance makes. That said a lot of people are reading sci fi, horror, thriller and manga as well. Books are selling. xoxo, A Bookseller
seriously, it appears that while basically nobody is reading fiction anymore when it comes to 90% of genres of literature, a lot of very horny people must be spending a lot of money on romance novels

You'll be hard-pressed to find an American who knows this stuff better. Read on & brush up on your understanding of Honduran politics, culture, and society.
From 2009 through the previous election, I co-ran a blog dedicated to explaining Honduran culture and politics to people unfamiliar with its recent and deeper history. The erosion of available media and the shift away from blogs means this year, we are watching and wondering how things will go. 1/

The women drawn to RFK Jr. see an intoxicating cocktail of romance and danger—whether it's getting attacked by a yak or texting about taking metaphorical bullets for each other.

But to most others, Kennedy is a reckless conspiracy theorist whose appetite for danger will result in a sicker America.
The inexplicable sex appeal of RFK Jr.
How can such ferocious desire be attached to this man? Two memoirs by the women who love him offer some clues.

Good on @littlebadger.bsky.social for withdrawing. Public figures need to boycott any institution that would do this. Withhold your labor.
This week, I withdrew from a speaking engagement at a public university because they sent me a list of prohibited “words & concepts.” I will not humor this censorship. It does a disservice to the stories I’m discussing & the audience, who deserve unfettered access to information & conversation.
