Noteworthy EU institutional setup - the Anti-Coercion Instrument (ACI) is closer to EU trade than to EU foreign policy.

This means that unlike sanctions, decisions on activation and following actions are done by Qualified Majority and a strong Commission, without national vetos (🧐🇭🇺)

If the Norwegian government had any backbone they would do this.

Big if, though
Dear Trump. Here’s a deal. Back off from Greenland and Norway will not destroy your economy by unloading the 180bn usd of your debt owned by the Oil Fund

Looks like the EU-US trade deal is now dead, with all three major groups in the EU Parliament calling at least for suspension. The downward spiral has already begun.

NATO is dead. We need a credible replacement. It's a time for European leaders to stop fiddling nervously around, and instead to act decisively. European federalism may have seen like a fringe idea two weeks ago - but now it's the only plausible path forward. Join Volt!
Europe is under threat from both the east and the west. We need a radically new approach to European security and collaboration: A United States of Europe.

Novo produserer visstnok mye av medisinen i USA, så den får nok ikke toll. Men der er andre mulige problemstillinger rundt godkjennelser osv

More than 200,000 Danish citizens have signed a petition to buy California as a response to Trump’s attempt to take Greenland.

They say they will provide Californians with “rule of law, universal health care, fact-based politics, and a lifetime supply of Danish pastries.”

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

They’ve lost the war and they don’t even realize it yet. They got obliterated by the Danish weapon of mass destruction: The committee
Leavitt on WH meeting with officials from Denmark and Greenland: "In that meeting the two sides agreed to establish a working group of individuals who will continue to have technical talks on the acquisition of Greenland ... the president wants the US to acquire Greenland."
