All the rape, torture, and murder will be brushed under the carpet, a great lesson for any future war criminals.

Man, everything is so bleak, anyone got a fun fact or little bit of trivia they want to share
Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.

If you're a person of influence in this country and you haven't picked a side, maybe now would be the time to pick a fucking side.

So much news, but remember this doesn't let up
Russia will not stop until it's stopped.
The war ends the moment Russia leaves.
Russia lies repeatedly (we won't invade Ukraine, we didn't kill Litvinenko, didn't kill 300 on MH17, didn't use Novichok in the UK etc etc)

We MUST NOT trust Putin.

FL is moving forward w/ plan to end all childhood vaccine mandates. Starting with hepatitis B, chickenpox, and the bacteria causing meningitis and pneumonia. Then next year GOP FL legislature is expected to revisit 1977 law re: whooping cough, measles, polio, rubella, mumps, diphtheria, and tetanus.
This is so dumb. H1-B visas are a way the US has hired extraordinary people from around the world. Academic job markets are fiercely competitive, and foreign applicants are not paid less as departments generally follow disciplinary and departmental standards.

Tuberville thinks he’s sticking it to the Libs because SNAP recipients are all in the “inner city,” and Dems are gonna “feel the pressure” soon.

He’s the senior senator from freaking Alabama! He doesn’t care that his own constituents will suffer when SNAP is suspended?

Evil morons, the lot of ‘em.
Not feeling great about Pete Hegseth or anyone else tbh "testing" our nuclear weapons
None of this is correct. Good thing we have a steady hand on "nuclear"
The Trump administration is a fascist administration, but the United States is not yet a fascist state.

Total state capture takes time. Every obstacle we can present as individuals, groups, communities, and institutions helps slow that process.

Everything we do to resist matters. It ALL matters.
Once again, the main day of Tea Party protests had about 300,000 nationwide, but saw endless coverage.

The No Kings protests had about 7,000,000 nationwide, and many media outlets reacted with a yawn.

No Kings was nearly 25x as big as the Tea Party but the Tea Party got 25x the attention.
Ask yourself this: How would the New York Times have covered the protests if it had been seven million MAGA supporters flooding the streets? We don’t even have to guess: We know how they and other mainstream outlets covered the Tea Party protests during Obama’s first term.
Carney: But this decades-long process of an ever-closer economic relationship with the United States is now over. And as a consequence, many of our former strengths as a country—more particularly, our economic strengths based on close ties to America—have now become our vulnerabilities…
