"30-year-old conservative lawyer and activist who is Trump’s nominee to lead the Office of Special Counsel, which deals with federal employee whistleblower complaints and discrimination" cancelled his colleague's hotel room so she would be forced to stay with him.
www.politico.com/news/2025/10...
In late July, Paul Ingrassia, the White House liaison for the Department of Homeland Security, arrived at a Ritz-Carlton in Orlando with a lower-ranking female colleague and others from their department. When the group reached the front desk, the woman learned she didn’t have a hotel room.

Ingrassia then informed her that she would be staying with him, according to five administration officials familiar with the episode. Eventually the woman discovered that Ingrassia had arranged ahead of time to have her hotel room canceled so she would have to stay with him, three of those officials said.

My gosh. After the US bombed multiple boats in the middle of the ocean, murdering people on grounds that they were allegedly "carrying drugs," the US Attorney General says "Just like we did with cartels, we're going to take the same approach, President Trump, with Antifa."

Honestly my biggest argument against AI sapience/personhood is that if it WAS something we could easily recognize as a fellow sapient being with emotions, needs, and possibly rights, every tech oligarch in the AI sphere would be trying their BEST to convince us otherwise so they could have slaves

As opposed to Vance, who oozes with ooze

In the mind of JD Vance, a Black woman must be thankful for the fact that she has been elevated out of her natural state of slavery, and should express her gratitude with silence about her erstwhile masters. If you lived through the Civil Rights movement in the South in the sixties, this is familiar
