According to the New Yorker, Donald Trump and his family profited off the presidency by an estimated $4 billion in 2025 — mostly through shady crypto deals.

That amounts to $456,621 per hour.

But how are you doing?
happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.
A manager for the Immigrant Defense Network told MPR News that back in November, 2,500 people were trained as constitutional observers. Now, the total is nearly 30,000 trained observers in 77 of Minnesota's 87 counties.

The safest place in America for a debased criminal is to be in the Epstein files.

Remember when CIA Director David Petraeus was forced to resign in 2012 when his extra-marital affair was exposed? It was a national security concern bc it made him susceptible to blackmail. It's amazing how quickly those security expectations disappeared!
To all the Minnesotans who are making their voices heard and protesting peacefully:

The world is watching, and when change comes, it will be because of you.
The winds of public opinion are at our back. We will press this Administration until we see impartial investigations, the departure of federal forces, and an end to this campaign of retribution.

I sometimes wish the Democratic Party in Congress consisted of any 260 people in the Minneapolis telephone directory rather than the 260 dignitaries now representing us.
Oh our Minneapolis, I hear your voice
Singing through the bloody mist
We’ll take our stand for this land
And the stranger in our midst

I reached out to the director of Norway’s Resistance Museum, a collection of artifacts selected by surviving members the resistance.

Staff at a Twin Cities yarn store put together a pattern for a red knit “Melt the ICE” hat inspired by the Norwegian resistance.

They thought they would attract 10 people to a weekly knit-along.

They’ve sold 70,000 copies, raising more than $250k for immigrant aid groups.

"Allowing the crime scene to be contaminated then covering the victim’s weapon with fingerprints will make it much harder to investigate the case, much less prosecute it. But of course federal officials never intended to do either. Indeed, the coverup was underway immediately." — @lizdye.bsky.social

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Last week in Minnesota, I watched ordinary people risk their lives to protect their neighbors. In the process, they not only won a significant—though not final—victory against authoritarianism, they proved virtually every MAGA social theory wrong. (gift link) www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...
Chris Madel didn’t just exit the Minnesota governor race, he walked away from the Republican Party itself, saying he cannot support “retribution” against the people of this state. When punishment replaces governance and fear replaces law, even party insiders bolt.

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

Walz: "If it was the intention of Donald Trump to make an example of Minnesota, then I'm damn proud of the example that the world is seeing"
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
The term “law enforcement” should not be used by media, except perhaps in quotations. It has sadly become an Orwellian term that is used to magically sanctify violence. Language matters. Be specific. Describe individuals with names and ranks. Say exactly what they did. Don’t repeat fascist hocum.
